Preventing Heart Disease and Stroke

|

A study conducted by researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health showed that the risk of heart disease and stroke can be reduced by maintaining healthy blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and blood sugar levels.

Data on 1.8 million people from 97 various studies around the world showed that obese people with high blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose levels were susceptible to strokes. The researchers noted that high blood pressure is the main contributing factor to heart disease and stroke, even more so than cholesterol and glucose levels.

If you suffer from heart disease and have been mistreated or misdiagnosed by a negligent medical practitioner you could be eligible for compensation. If you are looking for legal representation against medical malpractice in the Massachusetts area, contact Crowe & Harris, LLP  at (617) 404-3417.
